Notice anything?  It seems we have decided to target buyers that want to live one  block east of Galatin Rd.  This may not give us the broadest market, but it certainly makes the addresses easier to remember.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;This morning I met Waste Management as they delivered two dumpsters to our new house on N. 14th.  It won't be little and green for much longer.  We are about to start demoing the roof and then it's a new second story and addition out the back.  I think we are getting more efficient with every project. (Now if only I can channel some of that efficiency into REGULAR blog updates.)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;Thanks for hanging in there with me and don't hesitate to let me know what you think. These really are supposed to be weekly updates but between finishing Eastdale and all the forward progress at Howard (and future projects) I’ve been a little distracted.  I am very pleased with the way Eastdale turned out.  It’s finally finished and looks great.  The open staircase makes a great focal point to the kitchen and dining room.  The master suite upstairs could even be described as luxurious.  To paraphrase Daniel’s mom “Give me a mini-fridge and a microwave and I’d never have to come back down.”  The open house was a success and, once again, a couple that came the first day wrote up an offer.  Hopefully our latest project will be their new home before the month ends.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;That little white house over on Howard has changed dramatically as well.  No longer little, Howard looks more like a house every day.  Shingles, siding, windows, plumbing, and electrical have all been completed. Drywall will soon begin and this house will be on its way to the MLS before you know it.  As busy as March was, April does not appear to be slowing down any. We finally moved &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"&gt;inside&lt;/span&gt; at Eastdale.  After weeks of concentration on the exterior elements, the interior of this house is finally coming together.  Drywallers, painters, tile installers and trim carpenters have been transforming this construction zone into something that is beginning to look like a finished house.  Everyone is gearing up for the new-and-improved completion date of March 20th.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Outside&lt;/span&gt; is the only place to work at Howard.  The house was stripped down to its foundation; only a few pink blocks remain.  Footings were poured for the new front porch and rear addition and as I type this blog entry the new floor system and first exterior wall are being framed. Last weekend, at our house on Timberdale Ct., a tree on the neighbor’s side of the property line was blown down, subsequently eliminating our fence beneath it.  The falling tree also clipped a corner of the roof on a shed in the back yard.  Though we cannot confirm with absolute certainty, we are nevertheless thankful that no wildlife casualties have been reported at this time.  This unexpected downing is a testament to the unpredictability of a flipping project.  In these uncertain times let us draw close to loved ones honoring trees that have fallen and those we have yet to climb.  The real question that arises from all this, however, is “Did the tree make a sound when it fell?”&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; Procrastination</title><content type='html'>&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;I am a procrastinator.  I do it with the best of intentions.  I always seem to think there will be more time later, and this extra time will allow me to do the job better.  However, I inevitably put off said job so long that I end up rushing through it in less time than I had originally and now it's late.  You may have noticed the rocky start our "weekly" blog has had.  I am trying to be better.  Don't give up on my yet.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;On a happier note...WE HAVE A PERMIT!!!  It took a while, but it finally happened.  The Clowns of Metro had Jason juggling and jumping through hoops left and right.  (At one point I believe he was required to do something involving a unicycle, flaming baton, and the Pledge of Allegiance.)  At any rate, we finally, finally have a permit and can continue work at Howard.  We have almost completely demolished this house.  When Gregorio's guys finishes demo, the only things left will be the original foundation and some of the floor joists.  Next time we have a project like this, it may be more efficient to bring in  a bulldozer.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="font-size:medium;"&gt;Our Eastdale project is a little further along.  Martinez and his crew just finished painting the outside.  We maintained the same footprint but expanded living space into the attic by adding a shed roof to the back of the house.  The soon-to-be livable second floor will be home to a spacious master suite, bonus room, and laundry closet.  The interior is well on its way and should be ready for an adjusted completion date of March 15th.  Hopefully we won't have to adjust the date again.  I am also hopeful I won't have to adjust the title of our blog to reflect the a lack of weekly updating.  Wish me luck!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img style="display:block; a busy last couple of weeks, we finally wrapped up the house on &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;Timberdale&lt;/span&gt;.  I can't tell you how pleased I am with the way it turned out.  Timberdale truly is one of a kind.  This house boasts four bedrooms, three full bathrooms (with the largest shower in &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;Crieve&lt;/span&gt; Hall) and still has a two car garage.  I had a lot of fun watching people's reactions when they walked through the door at the open house.  No one was expecting quite the level of transformation this little ranch has gone through over the last five months.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;In case you think I'm too biased in my excitement over this project, we had an offer before the first open house was over, and a contract within a week.  What a way to ring in 2009!  If you didn't get a chance to see this house you really missed out.  So what's the moral of this story?  &lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Greenlight Property Group has got it goin' on.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;For now, it's off to the East side.  We've got two projects in Inglewood with open houses at the end of February and middle of April.  Check back here and I'll keep you updated on all our progress.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img style="display:block;
